CLASH! | Seminar dedicated to the training of a modern dancer
On September 22nd 2019, a seminar on the training of a modern dancer will take place at the headquarters of the Polish Dance Theater (Kozia 4 Street). The meeting takes place as part of the "CLASH! When classic and contemporary dance collide and new forms emerge" project co-financed by the EU from CREATIVE EUROPE program.
The seminar program includes a classical dance lesson with elements of Pilates, the class of polish national dances from the Polish Dance Theater performance "Wedding. Afterparty", improvisation workshop, as well as a discussion on "How to improve the training of a modern dancer so that he is prepared to work with various choreographers?"

Katarzyna Rzetelska - a graduate of the Łódź Ballet School. After graduating, she worked at the Musical Theater in Łódź, then she signed a contract in Japan where she danced in the style of modern jazz and broadway jazz. Upon her comeback, she danced on the stages of Western Europe in a musical repertoire. She perfected her executive and pedagogical skills during internships and workshops in contemporary dance and modern jazz techniques. In 2005, she became a permanent member of the Polish Dance Theater. She was in the group of dancers collaborating with William Petit in the “Trans Danse Europe” project.
Adrian Radwański - a graduate of OSB in Poznań, as well as a student of Ballet Pedagogy at the FCUM in Warsaw; two-time finalist of the Ballet Competition in Gdańsk, winner of the special prize "Scenic personality" awarded by Ewa Wycichowska; a finalist of national eliminations to Eurovision for Young Dancers in 2013; a laureate of the special "+ - award" in the choreography competition "Szoloduo Budapest 2013" (along with Joanna Polowczyk). From June 2014 to November 2016, he was a full-time member of the Polish Dance Theater. In December 2016, he started working as a soloist at the Staatstheater Braunschweig Tanztheater, where he appeared in two premieres: "Dein herz ist meine heimat" and "Nice to meet you?". Since August 2017, he has again been associated with the Polish Dance Theater.
Michał Przybyła - a graduate of the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Łódź in the field of dance, majoring as a dancer-choreographer. He was a soloist at the Częstochowa Dance Theater, a dancer at the V6 Theater in Łódź, a choreographer of the Urban Movement group in Łódź. A qualified jazz dance instructor, a graduate of the "Dance Journey" program in Israel, a trainee at Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in Israel, a participant in the 7th edition and a finalist of the 8th edition of the “You Can Dance” TV program. He learnt from many teachers and choreographers from all over Poland and around the world. The group of his mentors included: Thierry Verger, Luciano Di Natale, Julia Spiesser, Lukas McFarlane, NappyTabs, Diana Matos, Matthew Tseng.

The seminar is aimed at adults, dance teachers and dance group instructors.
