Andrzej Chylewski, Głos WielkopolskiTango without the end The newest proposition of the Polish Dance Theatre contains many levels, many plots and many meanings. You may watch the Tango in aesthetic sphere - exterior sphere, which seems very rich not only in visual effects but also in acoustic sound. This is all possible because Ewa Wycichowska, author of the idea of the performance and its choreography ask to work together two great personalities, with creative minds and ideas. The first is Leszek Możdżer, young great pianist and composer, who, till now, has been working only on a jazz field, seems to moves easily the same in choir melodies as in tango. With the Gdańsk Quartet and few other musicians he has composed fascinating music, gathering everything into one, common piece using original records of Astor Piazzolla - an Argentine tango master. One of the best ideas in performance was projected video picture of skeleton of the bird - living and dying. This impress realisation is a merit of Adam Wyrwas - direction and realisation and Piotr Śliskowski - camera. The meaning of the performance is also a proposition of talk and presentation of position that the end of our age does not mean, and it does not mean for sure, the end of our common or also individual world.
