TEODORO BAREA MUNOZ

He comes from Cadiz province. He learnt flamenco from such stars as Merche Esmeralda, Domingo Ortega, Antonio Canales, Tomas de Madrid. He specializes in flamenco and zarzuela, but he also danced classical ballet. He performed among others on stages in Australia (Sydney Opera), USA, Germany, Mexico, Greece and Chile. He has choreographed many performances in Spain and abroad. In the years 1998-2000 he ran his own school of flamenco in his native Sanlucar de Barrameda. His students are members of such renowned companies as Merche Esmeralda or the Ballet of Andalusia. He lives in Barcelona where he teaches classes in Rosita Segovia’s and Jose de la Vega’s and in the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona.
