| BODY CONDITIONING Helpful exercises for dancers at every level of advancement. The focus is on stretching and strengthening the muscles in order to improve the overall fitness and endurance and prevent injuries. Body conditioning improves the strength, coordination and efficiency of muscles and right posture. It also influences on the cardiovascular system providing correct flow of air to the brain and enhancing dancers’ mental abilities. Depending on the teacher, the workshop may includes elements of Alexander or Pilates, yoga, tai chi, body mind centering. |
