PIOTR BAŃKOWSKI

One of the forerunners of break-dance, hip-hop, street jazz, street dance and disco dance movement in Poland. As a dancer and choreographer he has cooperated with numerous dance companies and centres (among others, the musical “Metro”) with whom he has won many prizes and champion titles. He has recorded many video clips for Polish Television. He now specializes in street dance, runs his own dance theatre (Teatr Tańca Zakręconego) and gives open hip-hop and street dance workshops. Cooperates with Poznań Ballet School and the Polish Dance Theatre (Open Contemporary Dance Classes) and other companies in Poland (Warsaw, Zabrze) and abroad (Kassel, Berlin).
