VIANNA ASENCIO (Dominicana) Dancer and dance teacher. Started her ballet education at the age of 6 and later moved on to jazz, contemporary dance and flamenco. Performed in the National Theathre in Dominicana. Co-founder and dancer of the Pasión Flamenca company. Teacher in the Escuela Superior de Ballet and the Taller de Danza Espanola Gitanilla. Moved to Spain in 2000 to continue her dance education (flamenco, jazz, contemporary dance, salsa) and give salsa and merengue classes. Came to Warsaw in 2004 to teach in the Dancing and Acting Studio at the Ballet School and in Isadora Duncan School of Dance and Theatre. She has performed in the Stodoła Club, Dekada Club, Colosseum (Lublin), and Polish television. Vianna teaches the styles that are now popular in Latin America and New York. They are based on modern dance, jazz and Latin dance techniques (merengue, cumbia, samba, bachata and reggaeton).
