Laboratory of Word | CREATIVE LABS 2018
We imagine "Laboratories" as a specific space for acquiring new competences, creative searches, acquiring new knowledge and skills. This project meets the new emerging model of the functioning of culture, in which common practice is often research and / or laboratory work.
Laboratory of Word
27.08-31.08.2018 I 10.00 – 12.00 I Venue: Młyńska 12
The word laboratory is a five-day block of classes focused around the practice of analyzing dance performances and recognizing the space of contemporary dance.
The first block of meetings hosted by Anna Królica will include an introduction to dance studies, an overview of Europe’s theater stages, and profiles of leading artists. Discussing dance reconstructions by remixes, we will learn about different strategies for choreographic practice.
An important part of the meetings will be the analysis of selected recordings of dance performances, writing about them and looking for the right texts that can expand our interpretation possibilities.
